This page explains what Subslingers, 1734 U.S. Route 22 East, Scotch Plains, NJ, collects on www.subslingers.com and what we do with it.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, phone number, email (optional), the items you order, special instructions, pickup time, and the order's totals and payment status.
- Card details: you type these into Square's secure payment form, and they never reach our servers. We only receive Square's result and a payment reference.
- When you visit: our server logs your IP address, browser, the page you visit and the site that linked you there. Our pages also send a short page-view note with your screen and window size, time zone and language. We use no cookies, no advertising or tracking IDs, and no third-party analytics.
How we use it
- To prepare your order, to email your receipt if you give us your email, and to contact you if there is a problem with it.
- Now and then, we may email a customer personally to ask for feedback. We do not send marketing emails or texts, and we do not add you to any list.
- We use visit logs to keep the site secure and working and to count visits.
Who sees it
- Our staff, our accountant (for bookkeeping and taxes), and Square, which processes payments and runs our point of sale. Square handles payment information under its own privacy policy.
- We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
- We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Orders: up to 7 years, for accounting, taxes and payment disputes.
- Visit logs: about one week.
Security
The site uses HTTPS, and only the people listed above can see order data.
Your choices
You can ask what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. We may need to keep order records for accounting, tax or dispute purposes.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
